No Republican has ever initiated or enacted any beneficial programs or laws. Democrats created Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, FEMA, HUD, SNAP, GI Bill, minimum wage, 8-hour workday, union collective bargaining rights, civil rights, voting rights, rural electrification, Obamacare and more.

The One Big Beautiful Bill’s final provision increases the debt ceiling by $4 trillion. The national debt is $36 trillion. Trump added $8 trillion to the national debt in his first term. The Congressional Budget Office reports this legislative package will increase debt by $5.1 trillion.
