Why, why, why?! Does Notepad need to have a Co-pilot implementation. It is Notepad. It exists to have no features. The whole point of Notepad is that it doesn't do anything but text.

The visudo command is the only safe way to edit the /etc/sudoers file, as it performs syntax checks before saving config. By default, it uses vi. If you prefer another editor like vim, nvim, or nano, you can temporarily set the EDITOR environment variable: sudo EDITOR=nano visudo #linux #unix
