Happy Switch 2 day to all picking one up. I got to play a bit of Mario Kart World last night before bed and it’s fun! Coming from the OLED Switch I’m also impressed with the vibrance of the LCD and of course the resolution. Nintendo really stepped it up for this console.

Played some Pokémon Shield on my Switch today before getting the Switch 2. I hope this gets a free performance update too at some point. I need all the Xenoblade games done too lol.

It’s criminal that my job wants to hold a high school graduation that I have to attend on Nintendo Switch 2 launch day. Like I could be at home playing all day after work tomorrow but noooo… kids have to graduate high school. How lame.

I love Yakuza. When I play, I have to suspend some disbelief. But this kid in Pirate Yakuza? He’s not annoying but it bothers me that his dad lets him run around with Majima who’s just killing mfs right before his eyes. I just can’t get behind this choice. At least it’s a fun game.

These long run times are exactly why I haven’t played games like Persona 5 Royal and The Witcher 3… shorter, tighter experiences would be great for adult gamers.

Elden Ring Nightreign is fun… until I reach night 3. The boss has too much health every time lol. And somehow I’ve failed to find a legendary weapon by the end of night 2 every time. Confident the boss would be more manageable if my friends and I could get them consistently.
