Ain't that the damn truth. As seen on centre street bridge. #Calgary #elbowsup

I got a temporary twitter ban for hoping that a certain provincial premier experience difficulties swallowing humble pie. Not sorry.

Someone I know has decided to go on an over the top trash their ex campaign on social media. I occasionally read their posts and all I can think is *this* is why your ex broke up with you. Just stop.

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION 2025: In the interest of preserving the planet, specifically water conservation, I am now selflessly resolved & fully committed to peeing in the shower. #ProudToDoMyPart

Update on el doggo. I’m seeing things that make me think her bone lesion is more likely lymphoma. We see vet tomorrow to top off meds and can discuss then. Meanwhile pain is well managed and dog wonders why I keep fussing.

Someone is moving around more easily today. Feeling better and brought me her ball. Drugs are a beautiful thing.

You might be a nurse if you just realized you have a prescription of Tramadol in your cupboard and just calculated that it is safe for the dog if she has break through pain on the current regimen. We even have the right dosage on hand. I’m now less stressed about trying to get through Xmas.

I don’t think we’ll wait long to say goodbye to our beloved dog. Even with pain meds on board she is clearly very uncomfortable. Even in pain she is so trusting and gentle. Standby for endless tears and photos of dog.

Yanked from the been. An image similar to what they found on our pup’s leg. The moth eaten area is wherein one had been destroyed and above it abnormal bone formation.

It was not on my bingo card for the dog to get diagnosed with bone cancer today. A few days ago she was bounding through the woods without a care in the world. I’m still in shock.

Update. I’m free. My next mission to see if I can get myself locked in Shoppers. The one cop was kind of good looking 🤣🤣🤣.

So in embarrassing situations only I can create. I am currently trapped inside the gates of my storage locker because it won’t let me out after hours. But yet it let me in. #inajam. The entry gate let me in about 5 mins after closing so I wrongly assumed I could get out.

My kingdom for a nerve block today. Unsettled weather in Calgary sucks.

Today’s family drama. #31 brought her kid over for sleepover no winter clothes. Snowing hard and -10. Kid was in runners and hoodie riding transit with transfers for about 2 hours. My husband was furious. I went out and found second hand basics for $35 Because this crosses the safety line.

And the gong show continues. @naheednenshi.bsky.social thank you for your sane voice. That number of members represents about 18% of working adult Albertans. (Rough calculation). The UCP doesn’t care whose security they mess with. vm.tiktok.com/ZMh7MgMuu/

A lousy week of being home sick brightened by ek doggo getting her bed elevated. Last year ice built up under it during cold snaps and neither my dog nor the floors needs that.

Still love The Fall TV series. However, it’s insane that all the characters wind up seeing the same ED physician in season 3. Belfast has more than this one guy surely!

GREAT TAKE ON BATSHIT BOBBY Watch as Bollocks Boy shows he doesn't know the difference between an element and a chemical compound. Also, Junior thinks the 1918 flu pandemic was caused by a vaccine Medical students and doctors, please sign letter in comments. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNA1...

Made it through slush and snow. Good day so far.

Neither dog nor I wanted to venture out into this. However, NeurEd Day happens regardless of weather. #Yyc #winter

One of the perks of taking a kid to riding. Moments like this.

Watching #TheFall Season 2, Episode 1. Still one of the best dramatizations of a trauma emergency I’ve seen. Yes there are things to pick at. But it’s so well done. The designation of roles, the communication, the log rolling, the slightly jaded but competent ED physician … why I love UK shows.
