Every once in awhile, I have this desire to play Final Fantasy XI again. I never did get very far in the story, and I only ever reached level 50 on one job (Paladin). But the thought of paying for another MMO is enough to turn me away. The day FFXI goes free to play, though, I'm going back.

Trying to farm for Rydia's "Rare-Drop" summons in Final Fantasy IV. Got the Goblin summon literally after two battles. Cockatrice, though? I've defeated nearly 400 of these things, and if you know anything about binomial distribution, that puts me in the 20th percentile for NOT getting it.

So, stat and skill maxing in FF2 is going well. Firion and Maria are at max stats and all weapons and spells are max rank. Leon and Guy have max stats and weapon skills. Guy still has two more spells to level up, and Leon has ten more spells. Honestly though, magic in this game is overrated...

Well, ya'll, it's done. For the first time ever, I have officially gotten the party of Final Fantasy V to level 99. In addition to that, I've beaten Omega and Shinryu, mastered every job, and moved all available methods of transportation to one spot.

Also, before my cartridge of the Pixel Remaster Collection arrived, I did three seeds of the Final Fantasy 4 Free Enterprise randomizer. Third seed was my "Oops, All Cids" run. The fight with Zeromus was hilarious. Just five Cids bonking the embodiment of a single Lunarian's immense hatred.

Also working on getting my party in my FF5 save to level 99 as well. I have already beaten both Omega and Shinryu, mastered every job, collected every spell, and have a perfect 150 Brave Blade. Literally, it's the only thing I have left to do. Granted, I missed a ton of rare steals, but ... meh.

First run of Final Fantasy 1 on the Pixel Remaster version completed! Leveled to 99 and accidentaly beat the Warmech in two hits. This marks, again, that I have completed every version of this game, with the exception of the Wonderswan Color version. I love FF1. 💙 #finalfantasy #pixelremaster

Been playing the Pixel Remasters and honestly, I like them. The Boost mechanic really cuts down on a lot of time spent grinding, which is huge. I already beat FF1 and FF5, and just started 2 last night. Not looking forward to a 100% Gau in 6, though ... that's gonna SUUUUCK.

WTF is up with today? Whlie leveling up an alt, I did two runs of Dzamael Darkhold, first as a Warrior, then as a White Mage, both runs were with people acting like total toolsheds. And, I'm fairly well geared, because I made my own gear, damn near filling up that alt's Armory Chest.

Gabriel, one of Sable's protégé's, saw this and demanded to be included ... He's ... a bit dramatic and has a terrible case of RBF. Whether that's because he's a descendant of the Gelmorrans that grew up in Gridania, or because he's a Dragoon that learned under a certain Ishgardian is unknown.
