Back in business after a week-long break! 🧑‍💻 After a much-needed break, I flew to Seattle to meet some of my teammates. :) 🇺🇸 While battling jet lag, I decided to start writing about a topic I've been thinking about for a long time—so stay tuned! :) #dart #backend #aws #serverpod #shelf

AWS Summit Amsterdam was a blast! 🚀 Had a great session with Martijn van Dongen on migrating the Community Day NL site to a multi-tenant app. Loved the energy at the community booth with awesome folks like @094459.bsky.social & @gunnargrosch.com and Thembile. Now off to 🇹🇷 for the Community Day!

Catching an early flight to Amsterdam 🇳🇱 for #AWSSummit to talk with Martijn van Dongen tomorrow 🙌🙌 Next, I will fly back home 🇩🇪 for a night to give a talk at Kotlin UG in Berlin on Kotlin and AI Assisted Programming with Amazon Q 🤖 Next I will fly to Istanbul 🇹🇷 for the AWS Community Day Türkiye 🕺.

Last week has been quite busy for me. Let's do a recap! 💻💼📱 First I flew to Paris to meet great folks from Flutter and React Native communities. I gave a talk at Flutter Connection about full-stack Dart and how power of AI can help us through the deployment processes. 🤖🚀🇫🇷

1 minute peek into my simple workflow for creating video game sprites with Amazon Nova Canvas. I love how generative AI gives you the power to turn your ideas into a real prototype in minutes

Building your iOS CI CD chain in the cloud just got easier. AWS CodeBuild comes with Fastlane preinstalled. No more struggling with Ruby dependencies :-) Read my post & learn how to configure code signing. https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/codebuild-for-macos-adds-support-for-fastlane/

Companies have many trainings that employees have to do. I wish they added one more training about Slack and just teach people about not using "here" or "channel" for their trivial day-to-day questions.

This Thursday, I will be in Dresden discussing one of my favorite topics alongside a fantastic sample app. Feel free to reach out if you're in the area; you can locate me at the venue or catch me at the AWS booth!

Yesterday, I had my second talk of the year internally to over 100 people. I love doing public talks and meeting the community but I believe internal talks are really important to get to know your peers and actually collect their feedback as they are our first users :)

Happy Monday everyone, busy week is ahead with a lot to do! But today is my favorite because I got to build another cool app to use in my talks. 🎉🎉

Reflecting back one of the coolest thing that I worked on: #30DaysOfAmplify. I want to thank Amandeep @avinashdalvi.bsky.social @zachjonesnoel.bsky.social, Vivek, Vishal, Srushit and our amazing speakers! You can find a summary of the event here: dev.to/aws-builders...

I was checking out some numbers from last year and I just realized I did "33 talks" last year. This doesn't include all the other work that I did such as livestreams, videos, sample apps, releases and testing and blog posts. A nice challenge is waiting for me in 2025 🫳🎤

2025 is slowly shaping up. This talk will be for 🇹🇷 speakers online! Be sure to register for learning about building a mobile app with TypeScript and AWS :) kommunity.com/eticaret/eve...

Happy 2025 everyone, going back to work mode slowly. 2024 has been hard but also rewarding from many aspects, there is a lot we don’t see in social media. However, I am more focused and excited for 2025 already. Let’s go! :)

Merry Christmas to all of my friends and to their families who is celebrating. 🧑‍🎄 🎄 Take a break, enjoy your family time nothing will change if you work today or not :) As usual I will do a 2024 recap of my year, but I still try to stay away from social media during my break.

A few flights are missing alongside the train/car travel but still it was a busy year :)

As of today, I am on the vacation mode until the 2025. But before I do, I did a video over @awsdevelopers YouTube channel and also did a great talk with #AWSCloudCaptains about building apps :) Just FYI: You might see random fun/personal things here :) www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFYi...

The great #amarathon certificate and the swag has arrived. I don’t enjoy wearing hats much but I have been wearing this since the morning :) Thank you everyone at the AWS UG-CN 🙌

Our session with @olivierleplus.bsky.social on building cloud powered cross-platform apps is out on YouTube! We live coded an app from scratch (even with technical hiccups, we made it through) in 45 minutes and did the deployment for it too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN5d...

After two sessions, two demos, workshop and booth supports, 115000 steps or 84 km distance (will not convert to miles) of walk, finally I am going back home from #reinvent2024. It was an amazing 6 non stop days, I learned a lot, met with old friends, made new ones. Let’s do it again next year :)
