The Killing Time is open… how nice to welcome the early visitors yesterday for a quiet preview. Everyone wanted to talk about the stories. 🙏🏼 Open 12-4pm today, the 4pm book launch event is now sold out with a waiting list. Exhibition runs until July 19th - hope to see some of you there!

If the weather be, like, all weathery and stuff by you, there are some smashing cosy-up films on telly this afternoon…BBC2 has In Which We Serve and The Magnificent Seven, while Film 4 is showing The Mouse That Roared, followed by Robin And Marian. Put a brew on, sort your snacks and curl up.

Goodnight chums x

Quick drawing of Brian Wilson while listening to him work his magic.

I’m at the RFH in January 2002 with my best mate, both of us HUGE fans of Brian. As he takes us through Pet Sounds, we’re both thinking about his fragility. The end of Caroline, No is the real test. Brian hits the note, we turn to each other and weep. We were not the only ones. Listen to the cheers x

Evening mofos It’s Kim and Kelley’s birthday The answer to this question is yes. Always. x

Why does English say “eleven” and “twelve” instead of *oneteen and *twoteen? 🧵 1/9
