This wasn’t like we were smug know-it-all brainiacs. The “I told you so” merely came from the simple fact and wisdom in us knowing that 2+2 will always equal 4 no matter how much money you have, how spicy the conspiracy theories, nor no matter how many times you say it’s 5.

Seriously, as someone that’s operated in the financial arena forever, what Trump is doing would end up with you going to jail even if it was 1/10000000th the scale. Announce tariffs. Buddies buy stocks on the dip. Pause tariffs. Buddies sell on the upside.
