Wat in feite het hele element van die 5 procent onderuithaalt: het punt is dat we niet opgewassen zijn tegen Rusland, omdat 'we te afhankelijk zijn van de VS en hun systemen.' Wat je dan niet moet doen is je nog afhankelijker van ze te maken.

Wat aanvaarden we van Rusland op NAVO-grondgebied en wat niet? Stel dat Rusland een prik geeft aan een Baltisch land en niet grootschalig aanvalt. Reageert de NAVO dan? Volgens dit citaat niet noodzakelijk. Maar dan zijn er de #EU en de Nordics nog. Wij moeten niet zitten wachten op de NAVO, toch?

Spent some time this weekend trying to make sense of the attacks on Iran. Not that I trust Iran, but western news is so one-sided. The West almost seems to think Iran should surrender, or at least not retaliate. In what world would any country accept such a loss of face if it had any other option?
