This is very sweet but also reads like the first diary entry they find in the abandoned house in a movie called something like “Sinister.”

Together (2025)

In the future I’m going to need references for late 60s - early 70s graphic design. The peak I’m thinking of is the original Bonkers! board game, and Schoolhouse Rock. I don’t know what to search for, and anybody name artists or examples I can look up?

iOS offered up this picture of my husband and me as a featured memory, and I was all ready to be Basic Gay and post it saying “look how cute we are” until I noticed my weird and unsettling chest hair situation.

DAYS SINCE FOOLISHLY TAKING THE BAIT AND CHOOSING TO GET INTO IT WITH DISINGENUOUS ASSHOLES: 0 All this work achieving Buddha-like transcendence on social media, and I still let people push my buttons like a malfunctioning crosswalk.

Coprolite isn't my favorite fossil but it's a solid number two.

happy mother's day

Sinners remains excellent on second viewing. Even if this time it did seem more like “this movie kicks ass” instead of “I don’t understand how mortal human beings were able to create something like this.” Still gasped and teared up at the “I Lied to You” scene, even though I knew it was coming.

One advantage of the extremely hot temperatures in the valley: We have cheap, non-powered or heated bidets installed, and the fact that water comes out of the tap at almost tea-brewing temperature is really pleasant.

I can understand people wanting to believe in miracles made possible through technology, but if there’s one thing I know about my country, it’s that there’s no way the American people will possibly fall for the exact same grift twice.

I'm not saying no but I think I'd like to find out who the two people are first.

Really looking forward to seeing Sinners again tonight, paying more attention to things I missed the first time, that were pointed out online. What’s your favorite detail from the movie?
