A good chunk of the nation now lives in states where they cannot sue the government for violating their voting rights. This is very bad.

Cutting research at the National Science Foundation by more than half(!) is intentionally sabotaging the future. These are contracts the federal government competitively awards to universities to develop breakthroughs and train graduate students to become future leaders & experts. Future is at risk.

This is parallel to a problem I’ve long had about people getting mad that “the left is rude” when that has nothing to do with policy suggestions, even when you accept the left isn’t a monolith anyway. I know a lot of very polite people who are right wing bigots with rotten political beliefs.

Aside from the fact that anyone can get seriously ill from COVID, a key point they are deliberately hiding when removing access is that COVID vaccines reduce transmission. People choose to get vaccinated to protect other people. It is wrong and harmful to take that choice away.
