post with honor

(EPILEPSY WARNING) Was working on a Garry's Mod map for a little bit, but sort of fell off the project. I just can't find a 'reason' I guess for this map to exist. Either way I have a rough time with finishing projects, so I wanted to at least upload some proof of its existence.

In the process of writing another post, with which I want to attach a video and can I say, THIS SUCKS. Horrible UI feedback to tell me what is wrong or what the requirements for a video post even are. Don't get me wrong, I love the BlueSky experience so far, but this needs to be updated.

I'm always a little sad when a submenu isn't resilient to this kind of user motion, like, didn't we solve this 10+ years ago

SLAP is a way of evaluating a decision. You just break it down into: - Strengths - Limitations - Advantages - Pitfalls. You can SLAP a concept, a department, a new initiative … you can even SLAP a person

Though there is a political angle, this is just generally hilarious. Imagine working for X years to become the director of the lottery to rig it in your favor. Something straight out of Dumb and Dumber.

the labor of art is mostly invisible. what you don't see in a finished piece is all the hours of thought it required, all the little discoveries and surprises and tragedies of production. art IS the process. if you aren't interested in the process, then i don't really know why you want to be artist

I've had to take a break from creative projects due to schoolwork, but this weekend I was able to get into Hammer++ mapping! I'm hoping once this semester is done I will be able to work more on creative projects!

"I'm rounding a corner!" the thing i'm rounding a corner on:

Started house of leaves, "... and I want something else. I'm not even sure what to call it anymore except I know it feels roomy and it's drenched in sunlight and it's weightless and I know it's not cheap. Probably not even real." Really speaked to me, loving this book so far!

I don't know if anyone else is like this, but I always have a yearning for the next season halfway through the current one. Just took down my winter decorations and put up spring ones...
