Unironically the thing I love about this point, is that it's a great basis to start talking to y'all about the fact that most of the people in jail in the US are just as innocent as Khalil. Many are Black folk that have been arrested with absolutely no basis, but wait over a year to see a judge.

Update on my cat Simon-- no seizures since Saturday, and his weird new leg kick reflex has gone away too. Definitely suspecting the dry food was contaminated somehow (really high quality stuff, but you never know). We switched him to all wet food, and he's seeing the vet Monday.
