Martín Zubimendi - Real Sociedad 2024-2025 Defensive Midfield La Liga Template, Stats Dashboard

Darwin Núñez, finishing 2021-2022 to 2024-2025

My initial list of strikers (and players that could fill in there) to consider was 9 deep: João Pedro, Matheus Cunha, Ollie Watkins, Benjamin Sesko, Hugo Ekitike, Liam Delap, Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, and Alexander Isak.

I used to make monthly predictions/educated guesses on things related to Arsenal/Soccer and I want to do that again to sharpen my thinking and track how well I actually do on these. Here is June and it is heavily transfer-focused. buff.ly/yksx7CA

Darwin Núñez - Last 4 seasons compared

This was indeed Alejandro Garnacho as some guessed

I don't have any idea how qualifying worked for the Club World Cup and I don't know if I care enough to learn. The mix of teams here don't seem to make a ton of sense to me. I will probably turn the games on during the day while I am working because I am a sicko but still very confused about this.

Taking the name out of it, there would be a lot to like around this player

Darwin Núñez - Liverpool 2024-2025 radar and distribution Premier League Nunez when he can't be the chaos agent isn't nearly as fun of a player. How he was under Slot makes me worry that he would not bang at Arsenal, he needs a different move but I would be excited to see where it could be.

Rafael Leão - Milan 2024-2025 Wide Forward radar and distribution Serie A

My mental odds for Arsenal’s striker signing: Sesko 75% Gyokeres 20% Other guy 5%

Perhaps a hot take, I am coming into next season HIGHER on Ben White than I have in a couple years. Timber is an exquisite player but not quite the final third player that White is. I think Arsenal will have more matches suited towards what White provides and he will be key to Arsenal in 25/26

Declan Rice, finishing 2017-2018 to 2024-2025

It’s not as flashy and exciting as Joan Garcia but Kepa Arrizabalaga is a player that makes a ton of sense for Arsenal. buff.ly/14O4RtF

It's a cost of doing business but still I want to rant just a bit this morning. If you sign up for a free trail and then forget to cancel getting charged, you should be a grown-up and say that is on me and either eat the charge or reach out and ask for a refund.

I thought this was a really good podcast and think Adam did quite well building the Arsenal team for next year - Running the summer business buff.ly/ScLspvb

Turning the Ballon d'Or into the “best” or most well known on the team that wins the Champions League award is a bad idea and is part of the reason this award doesn’t hold much weight for me

If I find time today I’ll write up some thoughts on Kepa signing. My level of caring about a backup keeper is low so I’m not exactly rushing to get the takes out here

Bournemouth - Goal and xG Difference 2022-2023 to 2024-2025

Benjamin Sesko, finishing 2021-2022 to 2024-2025

Jack Grealish - 2022-2023 to 2024-2025 Wide Forward radar and distribution compared to Left Wingers It has been a weird last three seasons for him but I don't think Arsenal would be a good place to take a bet on him coming back to what he was previously.

Manchester United - Goal and xG Difference 2022-2023 to 2024-2025 Can you really tell from this where Amorin took over? I can't and that's probably a problem if you're trying to be optimistic for next year about United.

Bryan Mbeumo - Wide Forward radar and distribution 2025-2026 Projection This is a good player but I thnk he's a player i'd expect to be more of a 10 and 7 G+A guy than a 20 and 10 G+A guy. United seem to be paying more like the latter for this

Revisiting my Pre-Season Predictions

Bryan Mbeumo, finishing xG and goals 2017-2018 to 2024-2025 While you could say that Cunha was potentially a plus finisher for xG, that case would be significantly harder to make for Mbeumo. This last season is a real outlier and it was a VERY hot streak at the beginning of the year

Tottenham Hotspur - Goal and xG Difference 2022-2023 to 2024-2025 There were periods where Spurs looked strong but it was never consistently at the level. It makes a lot sense why they would move on from Ange, a historically bad League season is just not something that is easy to overlook.

Definitely expecting some leaks in the next 2-3 days that show Arsenal's plans shifting this direction

Matheus Cunha, finishing Overall expected goals and goals 2018-2019 to 2024-2025 I think you can make a case that Cunha is a plus finisher but there is probably no world where you expect that he will repeat his 174% of his xG turning into goals overperformance

I’m surprised that there was any doubt if Ange would continue next season or not. If a one off cup game changes your mind on keep or sack the process for decision making would need to be addressed.

Early title odds for Premier League 2025-26 Season from BetMGM (no sponsorship just what was available to look up) The United hopium here is pretty crazy and I would love to be on the other side of that bet

Morgan Rogers - 2024-2025 Compared to Martin Ødegaard, Declan Rice, Florian Wirtz, Eberechi Eze, & Tijjani Reijnders

Zuriko Davitashvili - Saint-Etienne 2024-2025 Attacking Midfielder radar and distribution Ligue 1 He popped up on the Morgan Rogers comps and I was curious about him.
