They Came Together on PRIME. Starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler. It’s a David Wain film. It’s a goof on every romantic trope. Released 2016. No idea how this went under the radar. It’s hilarious. Sort of reminds me of an early Farrelly brothers film. Ps…everyone’s in it.

So, I just walked out of Thunderbolts*. Lemme just say it’s a fun movie. Lots of funny moments that aren’t jokey joke bits. The action is good. The acting is good. The story matters. Not an overly CGI fest. Reminds me of Phase 2. Also, Florence Pugh did THAT stunt. Yes, that one. Bad ass!

Watched HAVOC on Netflix w/Tom Hardy. Lemme just say, please stick with this movie. At AROUND the 52 min mark the movie goes from average action/mob/drama to all out bonkers/action. For real, the first 52 is fine, but I almost checked out. Then THAT scene happened. Couldn’t take my eyes off.

There’s this weird teaser we got before SINNERS for a movie I’ve never heard of. It just showed cam footage of kids running in the night. Creepy as hell. Looks to be from the guy who did BARBARIAN, after further research. I’m a a sucker for viral marketing - ask past me about Blair Witch Project.

Just saw SINNERS. What a fantastic movie. Great vampire movie without being a vampire movie. The story is great. The music is fantastic. There are sequences that truly gave me goosebumps. Stay thru the credits. Good stuff.
