i really really hate how many people on the left are responding to good advice on dealing with ICE with "so they don't abide by the law anyway" ignore people who tell you not to take basic safety precautions like knowing your rights. those people aren't your friends

A bad faith tactic that I really can’t stand on here is pretending that takes aren’t about election strategy. “We need to find a way to connect with rural white people” gets dogpiled as if it’s saying “only white people should be catered to”. It’s super annoying and not helpful in the slightest.
