This is one of the great myths. College protests finally stopped the draft. The war didn't end until 1975, but once people weren't being drafted, few people cared.

Protest is not, "by definition," disorder, which is why there's language in one of those weird amendments to that Constitution thing about "the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." But that's boring, I know.

Trump is losing in court, every day, and judges are literally risking their lives to put a stop to these policies. But the law is boring and protesting is exciting.

The situation in Los Angeles is about to plunge us into a national emergency, except the people that normally solve national emergencies are the ones creating it.

As I noted on @cnn.com, drug comments to attack Musk would be next. And here they are via minions. The car move, of course, is weak sauce.

What a useless minion.

This is not going stop the focus on musk

The Chief of the Criminal Division at the US Attorney’s Office/Middle District of Tennessee RESIGNED the same day the Acting US Attorney signed the indictment of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He writes: “do the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons.” There are no coincidences.

“I knew it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart.” 💔

NEW A little-noticed provision in the Senate budget bill would gut the government’s long-running CAFE fuel economy program for cars & light trucks. The provision sets all penalties for automakers who run afoul of the rules to zero — essentially repealing the law. heatmap.news/politics/cor...

i have a new goal now

i really need to up my carryon game tbh i am really far behind on this

One of the best things about Posting is you never know what obscure preoccupations your followers have. There will be a guy who has followed you for years and never said anything but then one day you disparage applesauce and he activates like a sleeper agent and dedicates his life to destroying you

today i learned there is an icelandic exemption for bringing in iceland hot dogs thru customs as long as u declare u are bringing in iceland hot dogs for personal use

are they really going with “the enemy of my enemy should be my rich nazi friend” is that what is going on here

Bondi again in Abrego Garcia press conference added all these scurrilous details, not in the indictment. Positively outrageous.

this is a day for those of us who have spent the last six months terminally online. this is for us and honestly, we deserve it.

Let’s be clear: ICE injured and detained the president of SEIU California for peacefully observing. ICE picked the wrong side. The wrong state. The wrong person. and the wrong union. David Huerta stood up. And now 750,000 SEIU workers are standing up behind him. seiuca.org/press-releas...

Whenever Dr Oz says Medicaid doesn’t “get its money’s worth” or people must “prove they matter” to qualify… just remember this is a strategy. They want you to blame disabled and poor people for high taxes. They want us to take the blame so they can get richer. Don’t let them get away with it!

“.. after wiping out entire offices, in some cases imperiling key services such as weather forecasting and the drug approval process.” 🤡 @washingtonpost.com www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Yesterday quickly went from bananas to B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

Nearly a dozen immigration officers and eight deportees are sick and stranded in a metal shipping container in the searing-hot East African nation of Djibouti, where they face the constant threat of malaria and rocket attacks from nearby Yemen, according to a federal court filing.

EVERYBODY WATCH. ICE IS OUT OF CONTROL. Video of SEIU California’s President David Huerta getting assaulted & arrested during an ICE raid in the warehouse district of Downtown Los Angeles today. He’s an LA native, American citizen and labor leader. Don’t turn away.

Meanwhile the Chancellor of Germany is here. This is not normal America. We deserve better

Remembering today the brave souls who stormed the beaches of Normandy and parachuted behind enemy lines to defeat the hateful tyranny of Nazi Germany on June 6, 1944. More than 4,400 were killed and more than 10,000 were wounded. Imagine what history would look like without their sacrifice.

Not gonna lie, I'm framing a screenshot of this post & hanging it on my wall. #TheLifeOfChuck

Chief of Nashville, criminal division resigns over decision to charge Abrego Garcia. That’s a big story and the details will likely be very damning for the administration.

ICE is conducting raids in Fuquay-Varina, Garner (around White Oak) and Raleigh, NC

BREAKING The President of California’s largest union has been detained during an ICE raid.

Reminder that California subsidizes red states.

Russia is at war with Britain and US is no longer a reliable ally, UK adviser says

I have VERY VERY mixed feelings about the NY Post but this rules

This is nightmare fuel www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

If you had told me the bitchiest moment of Pride Month would be this...

You are not going to believe this. A US Deputy Marshall in Tucson, Arizona was detained by ICE “accidentally.” He was racially profiled, because he LOOKED LIKE someone that ICE was stalking. Are these nazi mofos for real? Who the hell are these people, and what are their credentials?

🚨NEW: @cbsnews.com reports ICE is arresting people who can't even legally be deported and holding them without enough food or water in a federal building BASEMENT in Los Angeles. Families dutifully attending check-ins with ICE are being arrested and held for days, forced to sleep on the floor.

From @nytopinion.nytimes.com “Too many Christians are transforming Christianity into a vertical faith, one that focuses on your personal relationship with God at the expense of the horizontal relationship you have with your neighbors,” writes our columnist David French.

Ordinary people on both sides of the aisle want the Epstein Files released in their entirety. Elites on both sides of the aisle are praying they never get released.
