I often feel that I should not share the realities that come with my job to people who haven’t chosen to see what guns do to human bodies. Maybe it’s time to reflect on that policy.

Hi! Glad to be here. I’m an adult trauma surgery and peds EM NP who does research on sex and gender differences in vehicle crash injury. Short take: there are differences! Some are starting to look pretty important.

Sense of impending doom in a patient is absolutely butt pucker time. Assuming that goes for a nation as well.

I would love to tell you about the times vaccines prevented me from getting sick, but every time it happens, I don’t notice. I just keep feeling well. Neither do you. Public health, when it’s working, is invisible.
