A good rule of thumb is that if one feels the need to add "peaceful" in front of protest, they are conveying one or all of the following: 1) Conditional support 2) Demanding respectability 3) Shifting responsibility to the oppressed rather than oppressors 4) Disapproval of "uncomfortable" resistance

So I’ve been thinking about this for the last couple days and I’m gonna say this as kindly as I can but… These protest sure as hell are starting to look like they are not about popular pushback, but about recuperating radical energy and stopping actual rebellion against the fascists.
