You know, back in the ‘80s we didn’t have this handwringing over who would direct Bond. We got Hamilton, Glen, or Gilbert and we liked them plenty.

We’re so humbled by the kindness of friends, family, and even strangers this week. Our son has a complex, degenerative condition, and caring for him has become harder than ever. Times are tough for so many, which makes every donation and kind word mean the world. Thank you ❤️

Countdown to book release: Day 3. I got nothing today but a plea: writers who don’t have a big publishing house funding their marketing are a quiet voice in a very noisy room. We try and be heard, but it’s near impossible. I hope you hear this… new collection out this Friday. Preorder now.

Now that’s a rock and roll influence. Loved Mott. RIP.

Sweetest of dreams, wherever you may be.

Amazing!

Entertainment’s key for hanging on to my marble bag. It’s on Shudder, but right now I’m watching CREEPSHOW the series on Tubi. Guess what? They’re still great! Really strong, fun, colorful storytelling. My fave is @thejoelynch.bsky.social’s THE RIGHT SNUFF. It’s a EC comic come to life. Perfect.

A wonderful moment on this whole book scribblin’ journey; last year my daughter Renee hosted a panel for A CUT BELOW at Calgary Horror Con. A forever memory.

Yeah, sure. I watch the classics.

Home alone for the weekend, so doing some writing while Argento's OPERA plays in the background. Real cultured like.

Ive reposted Scott before but his book really is a good starting point to B horror movies esp in thinking about them as the art they are. He does a great job of intertwining the cultural moment they were made in with why many stand the test of time.

Gotta get this
