Exactly 1000 years ago (April 18th, 1025), Bolesław the Brave was crowned the first king of Poland. During those 1000 years, Poland disappeared (once for 123 years) and reappeared on the map multiple times. It's not even similar to its original form now, but it still exists, and that's insane.
