Here are some things I find good though aside from the combat: - I like when it tells you you're about to go through a point of no return. It's nice to know when I can check my map for collectibles before moving on. - the shield and parrying is a lot of fun - The giant mech sections are great

DOOM: Dark Ages feels like it was designed during that period of time. - Cutscenes that show me what door I opened from every switch. - Hard cuts when I finish a level. - Stopping the game flow to tell me how to shoot a gun. Thank god the combat and game feel are too notch though. 1/2
