Bucket crimes, crimes committed with my bucket friend, crimes my bucket friend told me to do, crimes committed whilst inside the infinite hole labeled K, skip button crimes, eternally recursive crimes (so many recursive crimes), crimes of choice, or perhaps crimes I had no choice but to commit...

Vermin... are the root of man's impurity. Those who wish to see vermin can, and those who choose to are provided with boundless purpose. Pay to mind to the fact that vermin resemble a human spinal cord, don't think too hard about that salute or that helmet having only one eye... Confederates.

Most people have heard the quote “history is written by the winners”. I want everyone to understand that this is not some kind of metaphor. It is quite literal. Fascists always work to literally erase the artifacts that tell the history that they don’t want told.

I do not know what I am doing, and tbh I should not be trusted with sharp objects. I'm wearing flip flops. I do not belong here... but here I am. Hey, is there a wood relief carving side of bluesky? If so, do y'all wanna tell me how to do this thing or what to avoid?

painting a tiny face with acrylics while trying to show someone enraptured in joy and freedom is hard, I need to give her hair but gotta step away to feed the dog. Wherever this is when I go to bed tonight is where it will remain forever, wish me luck

The first Soulsborne game I ever attempted was Dark Souls 2 SOTFS, I created my character and wandered the opening area for 2 hours trying to figure out where to go, I never saw the door in the back of the hut. I never got beyond the hut. I killed the big enemy, but couldn't find the door. 2. hours.

I think I'm starting to get a better grasp on value / color theory or whatever as this painting comes along

It's fun to sit and mark the end of each chunk of time I sit down to work on this painting by sharing the results. The sun has gone down and I don't have the greatest options for lighting in this house, so I tried to capture it with what I have. Real life's some combo of these:

Sorry for posting so many updates by sharing the results of each session I have working on this desert sunset painting, I learn by getting to see how others' work develops across their process so I want to share mine for others who do the same 🫶

Albert Bierstadt worked back to front so I guess I will too. This is my first time painting rocks. This is my first time trying most of these things. Or, alternatively, it's just another attempt at capturing light and forms, which I've done many times. Still so much more to do.

I think I finally figured out how the light should work... Quite pleased with myself, honestly. God rays for days. Might be able to knock out the foreground soon!

Was swapping out a load of laundry and realized that the lint trap makes for a kinda perfect custom-light able reference for learning how to understand different lighting conditions on certain cloud textures/types

I don't think I've ever posted this painting here, it's kinda fun. I'm looking at that pose & hearing the 3 physical therapists who independently asked me "have you ever heard of Ehlers Danlos" within 5 minutes of meeting me (& constantly corrected my weird leg positions in session)

I've bitten off more than I can chew, PS did you guys know it's kinda hard to paint on a tiny canvas because if you mix only the amount you think you'll need, IT DRIES SO FAST, oh well this won't be what I was aiming for but there's a lotta pretty colors & I'm learning a lot!

don’t forget to be weird and a freak

happy decemberween

I let the underpainting dry overnight & spent abt 1-1.5hr creating chaos this afternoon, y'all FYI burnt sienna underpainting does wonders for making an epic twilight glow. Acrylic paint + dry AZ air = whyyy though. Def gonna move to oils someday. Hard to capture color in pics!

never tried underpainting before. never tried making horses, or really done much with landscapes either, or attempted luminism... lotta nevers turning into firsts on this lil canvas board. why do acrylics have to go and dry s'dang quick though 🥲 anyone recognize the setting?

From the start, we wanted to create games with stories that inspire, move, and resonate with players. So seeing GRIS and NEVA win the Games for Impact Award is an incredible honor for us. Thank you so much for your support throughout this journey. We feel extremely happy🤍

I made the bird app endure this, I guess I'll make y'all also, been learning to draw horses so I can try my hand at becoming budget Mark Maggiori (I wanted to make that style painting before learning who he was, cuz it's my southwestern childhood vibe) & made this abomination ofcomparative anatomy

type shit I used to create to cause physical agony in fifteen year olds

Even if there were, I'd rather have living autistic children, than a bunch of kids dead from measles, mumps, or rubella.

Hey corporate media, Thou shalt not spend thousands of hours on one CEO’s shooting and only one hour on a classroom of children.

every year around christmas time the ballet dancers who play the rats in the nutcracker come out with a series of unexplained banger tiktok videos and anyway this is my favorite part of the holiday season

Propaganda ends where dialogue begins. Folks who won't respond to questions from people who aren't deferring to them tell on themselves. Same as it ever was. Thank you, Celeste, for your witness.

As a survivor of MacArthur’s church, I fully support Celeste & call on @julieroys.bsky.social to repent. Just a reminder that: “I don’t agree with this person on everything but they’re doing so much good” is why I stayed at MacArthur’s church an extra 10 yrs. www.celestefinally.com/p/julie-roys...

I am so proud of my friend @celestefinally.bsky.social for her ability to navigate such a difficult topic with the kindness and patience of a saint. This is NOT an easy topic to explore, but it is definitely a necessary one. Please give careful consideration to what she has to say here.

Please read this important work that Celeste is doing! Roys is not safe, and not an ally to queer people.

Please read this vitally important essay by Celeste regarding Roy's lack of journalistic integrity in her writing about, and engagement with, the LGBTQIA+ community.
