A portrait of ecocide, Irish style. Priest's Leap Valley, West Cork, still has a smattering of old scots pine and a dozen or so other native tree species, but they're dying on their feet due to sheep grazing, maintained by YOUR taxes. Rewilding places like this is just such. A total. No-brainer. 🌏

A natural bonsai birch growing in the recess of a blackthorn stem (left). So much lovelier than the artificial version. The bonsai oak on the right, for eg, has been forced into shape by steel wires running along its limbs. Why so often this human impulse to control? Let nature run wild!! 🌍
