Why are minorities still patronizing corporations that don't support them? Verizon and Amazon pulled support of Juneteenth events. I know that some folks don't have an alternative choice but many do. They may claim financial constraints but we know the truth.

140 years ago today, the Statue of Liberty arrived in New York Harbor broken into 350 pieces, packed into 214 crates. The likelihood that there were immigrants in the work crew to put this giant puzzle together is high. We depend on skillful immigrants to help build our homes.
