Costco was strangely quiet this morning, parking lot not even full. I guess most are at work or don't know that they're open.

Just got back from NB within the hour. It's cold in here! Excited to report new rest stops near Cobequid tolls are now open. They feature washrooms. Male, female, gender-neutral. Good to have a place that isn't a lineup outside at the tolls but thought there would be more to it.

Went to the washroom out in the public area since the one in my room is occupied. I think the plumbing is not OK.

I don't get why hotels don't make anything soundproof between rooms/hallways, etc. I guess it must be a cost thing. I also don't get why grown people don't understand that almost all hotels are built this way and use their 'indoor voices.' Yeah I sound like a grumpy old woman, lol

I am so grateful for insurance. My back has been somewhat fouled up since Easter, worse in the last few weeks. Physio guy gave me core exercises to do, it's just so much better. But I hope I will get over the fear of getting up, bending, lifting weights, etc. It's mostly fear in my head now.
