A word here about the David Hogg thing: to try and pretend that the DNC doesn't already pick winners and losers is absurd. To try and pretend like changing nothing and waiting for things to get so bad we have NO CHOICE but to hold our nose and vote for establishment candidates is bad.

I've heard the saying that people get the government they deserve, but i don't think that's entirely true. People have a lifespan of 70ish years. Corporations, which have been imbued with the rights of a person, live far beyond that.

I reported on economics full-time in 2020. It taught me there are no incentives to have a baby in the US. Women in the US have to pay for pre-natal, medical and child care, earn less, do most of the parenting and chores, get promoted less, and are now at 27% higher risk of maternal mortality.
