First road trip with the KIA EV9 a smashing success! This pulled about 400 Wh/mi (which isn't great), but that was in 103 deg F weather and traveling 85MPH up 6,000 ft of elevation. Was still pulling 200 kW from the charger at 70% which is amazing—especially given the temps!

The Samsung Frame TV has always been very popular (cause aesthetics), but a terrible value and generally bad TV. The new "Frame Pro" promises to fix a lot (for a massive price increase) but no reviews exist (only sponsored content). So I bought one to see if it's still junk.

CarPlay Ultra (terrible name) looks like garbage. Some of the worst tap targets I've seen in any car ever. Like, what is this list? Like, three 2"x2" buttons would have even been better. We do not want or need SwiftUI in the car lol This is just wretched.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launched today on the Mac App Store. $69.99 gets you a game that runs at about 23 FPS on an M4 MacBook Air with 11FPS 1% lows (aka, unplayable) using MetalFX upscaled to 900p "low" graphics preset from a ~500p render target. Yikes.

8 months ago I was 245-lbs. Frequent acid reflux and sleep apnea had me feeling like crap and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to be a good dad to my incoming newborn. Since then, I’ve lost 60 lbs., have no apnea or acid reflux, and am loving being a dad! I gotta lift more tho.

The iPhone Air will be thinner than the iPhone Pro, but the iPad Pro is thinner than the iPad Air. The MacBook Air is currently the thinnest Mac, but not the thinnest ever—that title goes to the MacBook (not Air). As for AirTag and AirPods—well, air just means wireless—not thin.

Here's what's nuts: while my heart wants a M4 13" MacBook Air because I still have the M2 15" Air and don't like the larger size, my laptop is tucked away in a drawer with a dead battery because I basically only use my iPad Pro. Me, the Mac guy, almost exclusively uses an iPad.
