Of COURSE it would be Anthrocon to codify that whole 'preserving the magic' fuckery. I wonder if they're gonna make people sign medical waivers so they don't get sued for when people inevitably pass out from heat exhaustion.

Tearing into the Fiero again tomorrow. Going after the TCC solenoid with vengeance after it forced a stall at a stop and made me neutral drop/stall 3 times before letting go. I would appreciate if something I fixed would fucking stay fixed for once. For at least 5 minutes. Please?

Update: I am an idiot. Found the issue with the Fiero. Turns out, having the #4 spark plug more than finger-tight does wonders for grounding and compression.

Using era-correct equipment on old stuff just feels right. Included is the bad squiggles.

Drivability diag is always a challenge. Moreso for a 40 y/o economy car being daily driven. Gonna have to bust out the scope and check some signals when it gets warmer; Suspecting an intermittently dodgy ICM when heat-soaked. It did come with the rockauto reman distributer after all.
