Having an exciting interview today sure makes up for a train wreck of an interview I had Monday

I know and love someone having fun tonight

Playing with landscape lighting

This has been a long and fantastic week

My future self will be pleased

I signed up for a platform that I was interviewing to advocate for. Had four enjoyable interviews, including a technical screen. They decided to pursue another candidate. Today I received a bill for that platform. I forgot to wind down my Kafka streams 👎 #AddInsultToInjury

Happy for my kid

We live in a world where the NOAA 2025 Hurricane Season Outlook report could not mention the word ‘climate’

Kinda honored that my questions about service-oriented architectures are resulting in: "I'm a text-based AI, and that is outside of my capabilities."

Join me LIVE today at 10 am US EDT with @irwinredlener.bsky.social, a pediatrician and public health and family welfare evangelist who is a relentless pursuer of an America, and world, that are safe, nurturing places for children, and the rest of us. Kinda weird to arrive in Las Vegas on a personal trip #Sphere

If I was much younger I would be researching opportunities overseas… Sad to say, but scientific progress will be happening outside of the USA…

This does look like fun for API prototyping and design

Just stored the ❄️ snow ❄️ shovels in the garage rafters, virtually guaranteeing that this next weather system brings us snow. Lots of precipitation on the way… #COWx

Crazy to watch the R&D heart getting ripped out of the American economy

Fun to be prototyping again #BlueskyAPI

Still thinking about this amazing ride a couple of weeks ago

Having fun making maps ;)

Good to be watching hockey in the Minnesota bar again

I have a gyro in my near future, and I am completely pleased

The post- World War II US investment in R&D is one of the greatest economic and national security engines in history. As I said to @revkin.bsky.social a decade ago, “the budget is policy”. We should expand R&D, not shrink it. Broaden participation not restrict it. archive.nytimes.com/dotearth.blo...

Spent the last two weeks in the mountains with friends and family. Such a fun way to close out this winter season.

Packing for a car camping trip and some bike tours. Excited.

Yin yang. This sister and brother are from the same litter.

These new iPhones are amazing. I just hot tubbed for 20 minutes with mine in my pocket and it still works just fine. Don’t tell my wife.

Excited for the day

Feeling like my OPSEC is not that clean

#PostcardsFromHome

Colorado…

Oh well, too bad for the weather forecasts for Minneapolis since there will no longer be weather balloons deployed in Omaha and Rapid City.

Feeling a bit nauseous

UK Subs detained

Installed 900 pounds of Lyons, CO flagstone this weekend. And I feel it in my muscles and bones.
