Elon Musk is calling for Donald Trump to be impeached. Donald Trump is calling for Elon Musk to be deported. Both sides have a point.

I’ve been saying to be wary of those who are trying to downplay what our community experienced at Lake and Bloomington. Please save all the documentation so people are held accountable. From ICE in our community, to MPD assisting with crowd control with a side of police brutality.

burn it down

i’ve been sent this footage of an MPD officer on east lake st during the federal action on 6/3 turning around and shoving a person who was filming him

Wait, she said *what*? First, multi-million-dollar restaurants are not an everyday thing in Minneapolis. Second, if one were to arise, it almost surely wouldn't be from a food cart. Third, even if it were to, it wouldn't be a food cart anymore. www.startribune.com/minneapolis-...

The buck stops at Mayor Frey.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk getting into a messy, public fight because of their giant egos is really embarrassing. But you know what the craziest thing about it is? Republicans still want to rip health care away from 16 million Americans so the rich can get a tax break.

Local officials going at each other over the Lake St raid is exhausting. The tactics were clearly just a Trumpian middle finger to Minneapolis. The city has regularly collaborated with federal law enforcement on gangs & violent crime for the past couple years without incident.

So @governorwalz.mn.gov already took away telework and now his MMB negotiators want to take away paid parental leave and take away our (relatively) affordable healthcare benefits? That’s pretty much everything he’s been saying makes the state the “Employer of Choice.”

It's so cool Walz got a national profile for signing a paid leave bill and he's literally trying to take paid parental leave away from state workers right now 👍

“Minneapolis’ city auditor told officials Monday the city has widespread problems in the way it doles out contracts to private companies to do everything from clear homeless encampments to prevent violence.” buff.ly/ICPAOJF

Donald Trump may have abandoned the DOJ consent decree, but that doesn’t mean that Minneapolis has to. @robin4mpls.bsky.social and @aurinmpls.bsky.social are moving forward with a request to the City Attorney to open negotiations to amend the MDHR consent decree to include provisions from the DOJ.

CM @robin4mpls.bsky.social on the legislative directive to make sure local authorities are not collaborating with ICE that MPD will have to respond to at the administrative and oversight committee meeting on 6/23 at 1:30pm. open to the public 250 s 4th st, room 350

Referring to the federal law enforcement action in Minneapolis on 6/3: "It sent the wrong message to the whole United States. It sent the message that communities of color are dangerous and we need to use tanks and people dressed up in costumes as the military. 1/2

Every single ounce of Top The Tater consumed in the world is made in Farmington, Minnesota

Every worker deserves a union.

Trump is going to deport Elon and it’s going to be the funniest thing ever.

Yep

“I was busy doing my job”

Councilmember Chughtai pointing out that MPD and Mayor Frey's stories don't match what people who were there saw happening. As usual, Frey lies.

Irony is the 311 app asking you to identify the cars in the captcha when reporting a vehicle parked in the bike lane

Thank you, Dr. Davis. It was heartening to see you and the others who responded to that horrific incident.

It's been a bit over 48 hours since the Federal raid in South, and I'm still struck by the impact that such a large, armed presence has had on our community. Impact matters, especially given the fear that our immigrant communities are facing from this Federal administration.

One thing that stands out about today is how Americans have become so desensitized to news. What was once clear insanity is now Thursday. Can that change? Sure. But I don't think there's any chance it does my lifetime TBH. I think we are talking multiple generations. But, man, I hope I'm wrong.

emergency press conference outside mayor frey’s office by MIRAC, MIM, and the indigenous protector movement regarding ICE’s presence in minneapolis

i fully support nationalizing SpaceX out of spite, this would be the most hilariously and unintentionally positive outcome imaginable
