AI and artistry - a thread on Becker's Art World theory. Philosophically speaking, generative art differs from human art a lot. An interesting observation is through Becker's art world theory. He describes artistry as a process that will always involve outside interference.

Fake artists. The scary future of AI? Recently, it was uncovered that Spotify is creating fake artists under made up names that create stock music in bulk amounts to fill curated playlists on the platform. The idea os to not have to pay royalties to real artists.

Another thought provoking generative AI thread about politics. I have regularly seen conversation around AI like "Left wing hates AI" or that "Liberal ideology is afraid of AI technology." There seems to be some kind of trend that generative AI is viewed differently by different political views.
