Every day a different Democratic member of Congress should go to an ICE facility to inspect their detention facilities or speak to a detainee—and bring the media. That’s such an easy fight to have.

Very often the scariest things about the subways and NYC in general are tourists themselves, expecting a happily densely-populated city to resemble a strip-mall driving, parking lot culture. Ain’t gonna happen. I do love seeing out of town kiddos excited about their first ride on a train!
