Thanks to whoever went to the trouble of morphing me into a dromedary so I could finally fulfill my potential as "Mar🐫". 🙏 ❤️ 👍

🔥🔥A 2021 study found that Medicaid expansion as part of the ACA led to a substantial reduction in mortality, primarily driven by reductions in disease-related deaths. A 2018 study in the Journal of Political Economy found that, Medicaid reduced infant and child mortality since the 1960s and 1970s.🔥🔥

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose. Other signs of his alcoholism included dizziness and chronic reckless behavior.

I’m trying to decide which Discworld book to read next. So many from which to choose. #Discworld

Here’s Saturn’s small moon Mimas, imaged by Cassini in 2017. The left side is lit up by sunlight, the right by ‘Saturnshine’, sunlight that has reflected off of Saturn.

If you still haven't read it, I highly recommend Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Not necessary to read in order, but it does have some recurring characters. Mort is probably my favorite from the series.

When I was in high school, the guidance counselor used to speak really scornfully about easy electives like "underwater basket weaving" but I have contemplated this for 35 years, and I still think underwater basket weaving sounds really hard.

I think I like listening to music.

I listened for 66,127 minutes in 2024. What about you? #SpotifyWrapped

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this: Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius. If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.

I see this postcard posted online a lot with "ca. 1910". Since she has a newspaper in her lap I thought maybe I could get a little more specific, so I went on a research binge and found it. It's a copy of Le Mirror from August, 1915. gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/b...
