My mother's brothers retired from FREEP and NEWS. She died in 1996. She said we couldn't publish her death notice until this happened. I don't think she realized it would take 29 yrs after her death: www.freep.com/story/news/l...

A former coworker died recently. Many ppl are flying to his memorial. The online tributes have pleasant, and funny, disagreements about when things happened. A Canadian coworker said an event I remembered from 1995 happened in 2007 (not possible, as I left co in 1998). We must all be very old.

I have reached the age where I'm getting notices that friends and former coworkers have died. A man I worked w/1991-98, and from whom I last heard in 2021, has just passed away. He was just about to turn 60.
