Very pleased to finally share a new open-access issue of Correspondences: A Journal of Esotericism on ecology and esotericism. Featuring work from Harry Danon, Joshua Levi Ian Gentzke, Susannah Crockford, Tjalling D. Janssen, and Anna Milon. correspondencesjournal.com/volume-12/is...

Really interesting -and, as the author says, "dispassionate"- analysis of the Fatima story. Especially striking is the distinction made between two competing versions of the visions, "Fatima I" vs "Fatima II" and the origin of the famous "three secrets" story...

I could not read the article, unfortunately (paywall), but the Whorfian in me is already happy with the first two lines...

Imagining how aliens might communicate prepares us for first contact and illuminates the nature of our own languages

Fascinating network analysis of the Cardinals, by connectedness and ideology, pointed to Prevost as the most connected/high status (eigenvector centrality). Interesting how connected he is to "liberals" despite being a "moderate." www.unibocconi.it/en/news/netw...

IMHO Jon Hassell is one of the most original and important musicians of the second half of the 20th century.I haven't listened to the totality of this concert yet, but it seems to be more aggressive/percussive than Hassel's usual style..

Personally, I have a tenderness for the continent of Mu, probably because I was fascinated by it as a kid when I read about it in The Adventures of Corto Maltese ('Sous le signe du Capricorne'), published in Pif Gadget magazine.

Interesting thread about the current "alien life" debate...

I wonder what the assembly index of dimethyl sulfide is (if of course I understood assembly theory correctly...) @saraimari.bsky.social, if you're around...

Deeply interesting. I've never taken DMT, but aren't there cases of mysterious alphabets received under its influence? I’m thinking of Allyson Grey’s work and Diana Slattery’s excellent book Xenolinguistics. And there is Dee & Kelly’s Enochian alphabet 1/ www.endangeredalphabets.com/2025/04/14/a...

It's #TechnoPaganTuesday time again. And I have a real treat for those who love the #CyberPunk genre as much as I do. Bruce Sterling has always been a sour but much needed voice in the zeitgeist. As he is with this article, originally published in Interzone, June 1991. lib.ru/STERLINGB/in...

Well, I still prefer the original version (which is in my top 10 all-time favorite tunes), but this cover deserves a listen, for sure...

I'm a big fan of daydreaming. All my best ideas have come in that state. I've always wondered if all the mindfulness/meditation culture isn't actually missing something... neurosciencenews.com/daydreaming-...

Great introduction to Kenneth Grant, perhaps the best for those unfamiliar with his writings... Next part, Bertiaux ? 😉
