There’s an international crowdfunding site I gave to during COVID19. Since then I’ve been messaged occasionally for more donations. This morning? Two calls, the second of which I answered and said my circumstances had changed. Was asked for money anyway. Then a WhatsApp message. Then email.

Idly remembering the time we had our pizza/fruit/whatever it was morale treat *removed and not given* (replaced with a note that said “if you aren’t appreciative we’ll give it to someone who is”). It wasn’t that we weren’t appreciative, exactly. We were overworked and never got to it. Ever.

Two weeks ago I skipped meals for a few days to visit a *GP*. And when I was late to the appointment due to traffic and time-blindness, got hit with $50 out of pocket penalty and a cancelled appointment. Can’t even think about seeing a specialist.
