Let's see: Trump's tariffs increased the costs of the raw materials used to build homes His immigration policies have created massive shortages in the trades that build homes, since even US citizens are being detained And his economic policies have increased interest rates. I miss anything ?

1. Florida banned cities from lighting up bridges rainbow colors for Pride. So the people of Jacksonville did it themselves using flashlights and gels. They opened the drawbridge to block them. So they marched to a different bridge. The latest from S. Baum. Subscribe to support our journalism.

If you do well in high school, you're now getting into Illinois' public universities automatically. Seeking a higher education is more affordable and accessible than ever before, thanks to our FY26 balanced budget.

"Am I debating this person, or their untreated mental health trauma?"

Yesterday, I completed the first leg of the AIDS/Lifecycle ride. 22.5 miles in, look at these beautiful views!

One of the best examples of "trigger discipline" I've ever seen. These drones were in place to attack during Putin's May parade. They could've attacked the parade route, even the reviewing booth housing Putin himself. But the civilian deaths would've turned global sentiment against them.

Which is the bigger grave? What McConnell did as majority leader, which was to obstruct everything Or the retcon that's been done surrounding what he did as MINORITY leader, which was to whine on Fox News and beg Republican AGs to sue? Because the latter is the bigger problem right now.

This is an important point. Shifting FBI resources from counterterrorism to immigration means that the US is not monitoring chatter and will be missing out on interrupting the planning stages of these sort of attacks before they happen. We have our 2001 blind spot back. Only one made by bigotry.

Remembering Chevalière d'Éon for Pride. A transgender woman in the 1700s who was also a spy and who turned double agent, extorted an entire monarchy to get her gender marker changed, and lived her life as a woman in a time when such was thought impossible. We have always been here.

No matter who you are or who you love, you are welcome here. Happy Pride Month, Minnesota!

The biggest mistake I think anyone looking at this can make is doing it in a vacuum. Every battlespace is unique, and in this situation, it's doubly effective because Ukraine USED to be part of Russia, so dialects, customs, and languages have enough overlap not to arouse suspicion.

One of Ukraine's key strengths is that they ONLY fight on the battlefield that they have. They don't run operations assuming that anything will just "fall into place" or that someone will reshape the battlespace for them. The fact that this attack ALSO caught the US by surprise is quite telling.

GOOD NEWS: Arab media reports that Hamas is losing control of Gaza. Gazans have reportedly taken over warehouses where Hamas was stockpiling stolen aid. Without that aid, Hamas lacks the funds to recruit new terrorists and can no longer control the population through food.
