Okay, tell me in 3 minutes whether that was a goal or not. #BelWal

Every single decision the ref makes is being questioned by VAR. It's not VAR's job to disrespect the referee. That's the crowd's job. #TheFootball #BelWal

Is there any point even having a referee on the pitch if you're going to spend three minutes checking every decision he makes? #TheFootball

Ah, dammit

The VAR check is over after four minutes and once again the referee was right all along. #TheFootball

This may be a wild idea, but if VAR can't come up with a decision within a set amount of time, say 60 seconds, then maybe just trust the referee's decision? It's supposed to be there to correct clear and obvious errors, no? #TheFootball

New reaction pic for #TOTP just dropped

You're all moaning about #TOTP while @noiseboxradio.com is playing the real sound of 1985.

You're all wrong about "The Last Kiss", it's a great record and it brings together George Michael and the legendary Alan Tarney. Mind you, it does also have David Cassidy on it, which may be the problem. #TOTP

Just discovered there's a film called Truck Stop Women.

Absolutely heartbreaking news to wake up to: Morten Harket, the voice of a-ha, has been battling Parkinson’s disease and is unsure if he will ever sing again.

Any #Supergrass fans looking for a ticket for Saturday?

I'm a miserable ratbag but I've never run anyone over.

Congratulations to Charli XCX on the success of her latest album "brat but it's not really brat because we just bought up a skip of mantovani LPs and put some green labels on them, then priced them at £35, safe in the knowledge that nobody will listen to them". (Pls attach photo of some green -Ed)

even if you have this on mute it's awesome. it's just stats and her calling germs transphobes. go give it a view and a thumbs up.

1983, that was a great year for music, wasn't it? Join me and @babel17.bsky.social on @noiseboxradio.com at 9pm as we prove otherwise.

If you've never listened to my radio show before: it's a bit of indie, a bit of silliness, some pop trivia and fantastic music from across the decades. Why not give it a try tonight at 8pm? noiseboxradio.com

Ey oop! New letter/petition launched by cis women fed up with all these gender crits presuming to speak for them. This is NOT for trans folk to sign, so please don't. But if you have cis friends and allies, do point it out to them: www.change.org/p/not-in-our...

This is spectacular. Sally James looks like a terrified rabbit, obviously she hasn't met Chris Tarrant yet. One of the teenage contestants is clearly in his late 50s, and how many Neil Sedaka hits can you name?

RIght, well, don't forget to join us again tomorrow for the third place play-off. #CheeseRolling

Remember, if you are going to take part in the #CheeseRolling don't forget your sunscreen.

"He smells blood!" Yeah, I'm not surprised. #CheeseRolling

"THE WINNER IS IN MUSTARD TROUSERS!" they were white when she started #CheeseRolling

"She went all the way down the hill holding her own head!" It came off after 20 metres. #CheeseRolling

I don't think Superman should be allowed to take part in the #CheeseRolling, seems like he has an unfair advantage.

#CheeseRolling is perfect Bank Holiday viewing. I've been watching for ten minutes and literally not a single thing has happened. It couldn't get more British.

This is indeed a thing, I just went to watch it and it genuinely asked me whether I had a TV licence.

I know he's younger than the previous pontiff, but even so, this is pretty impressive stuff given the limited time he'll have had in nets recently.

I'm not saying that the search facility on rateyourmusic.com is not very good, but... actually, that's exactly what I'm saying.
