Absolutely right that the means test will be increased and more people will get winter fuel payment this winter, but also right that we no longer make the payment to wealthy pensioners (including many millionaires) who were pandered to by the Tories for years simply to hold on to their vote base.

#OnThisDay in 1987. The first of an eventual 6 Monaco Grand Prix wins for Ayrton Senna. Nigel Mansell (Williams-Honda-FW11B) had built a 10 sec lead, but retired (lap 30) after a loss of turbo boost. Senna took over, claiming a comfortable win & the first for a car with active suspension. #F1
