I don't get why my fellow Gen-Xers can't wrap their heads around trans/non-binary people. We always appreciated non-conformity and intentional artsy weirdness, but we draw the line at violating traditional gender roles? Why? And what about Marilyn Manson's "Mechanical Animals" era?
