Tibetan by culture, philosophy, heritage and family ties, tragically the people of the Tsum Valley are cut off from their spiritual home and relatives by the Chinese border and their occupation of Tibet a few miles away. This the 8th century Tibetan Monastery of Mu Gumba. #freeTibet

More internet, more photos of the Tsum Valley. The people here agreed a charter in 1921 and have kept strictly to it ever since, not to kill or eat any living being and to preserve the environment. No roads, patchy electricity only arrived recently, but perhaps ahead of their time #Himalayas
