It’s insane how good the @storybook.js.org 9 automatic upgrade experience is. We’re talking +hundreds/−thousands of LoC changed, just by hitting Enter a few times. 🤯 Honestly, you should upgrade to Storybook 9 just to witness this wizardry, even if you aren't excited about the features (🤨???).

I went from "I'd rather not write stories than using Storybook" to "Storybook 8 is alright, excited to give it a shot" to "Can't wait to see what Storybook 9 has in store!" As with any dependency, make sure you keep it updated and integrate it into your regular feature development workflow.

#TDD with @storybook.js.org is joyous. Same @testing-library.com API we're all used to, but now we can see the component as we red-green-refactor! And it is _fast_. Can't wait to adopt this at scale. Next time: Playwright component tests, and enhancements Storybook plan to make with real events ✨

The react native rc is now also available. Make sure to set everything to 9.0.0-rc.4. The default for the storybook config folder became .rnstorybook and that should be the only real breaking change from v8.
