I'd have *loved* heat/air con in one package and if I were building a brew house I'd do exactly that. But we're not starting from there. The UK heat pump grant is only available for wet heating systems, which is what most UK homes have, because it used to be cold here.

I've only listened to the intro episode so far but what an amazing quote - "Heat pumps can work in every home, it's not a technical problem but a human problem." I'm definitely going to use that in future visit-a-heat-pump events. pca.st/episode/f9c8...

Saw a play with Derek Jacobi, left the theatre, walked straight into him as he was leaving from the stage door - full on impact, neither of us were looking where we were going as we were chatting with our respective companions. He was charm itself, could not have been more apologetic.
