I once almost drowned on a school trip to a wave pool. I remember just being trapped below the surface, far too exhausted to thrash or even swim. A tiny old German lady spotted me, dragged me out and yelled at me while I lay there & choked. Likely she saved my life and I never even said danke schön

Grenfell fire was caused by corporate greed; calls for unlimited fines, ban on public contracts. 72 people died, no one prosecuted. Corporations responsible for corruption, bribery, tax dodges, sewage dumping, energy price rip-offs. We can have strong democracy or corporations, not both.
