if SS isn't getting a raise (3% WTF) but all consumer goods are going up (10% or more) obviously the answer is not to raise wages (SS isn't a wage). It's to lower the COST OF GOODS. We cannot raise wages forever!

There has to be some middle ground? Are 30 dolls too many when some children have none? Will 2 dolls suffice when you had none? Will our greed overcome our common sense? But let's focus on the "30 dolls vs 2 dolls" and not the constitution? Can we stop building mountains from mole hills.

Where does our taxpayer money go after we pay the tariffs? And who gets to use that money? The tariff money is collected by the U.S. government and goes to the Treasury Department, similar to tax revenue. This revenue is used to fund government operations and services.
