Excellent Don Heck splash page from Rawhide Kid 20 (Feb 1961). Heck is one of the most criminally artists ever. I’ve heard him denigrated by fans and pros alike, and they are wrong. He excelled at war, westerns, horror, sci-fi and, yes, superheroes, especially when inking himself as shown here.

The tagline is appropriate, as the whole issue is very "grown-up". First Jonah finds out his estranged wife is seeing another man, then learns his semi-girlfriend ditched him, followed by him going on a drinking binge so bad that he ends up on a temperance farm to dry out.

I asked him for writing advice at a con many years ago when my novel was still in first draft, and was lucky enough many years later to get a story into one of his anthologies. Plus my husband still holds up Peter David's Hulk run as one of the very best for the character.
