Here I am, browsing my usual market of super convenience for the week, and... Good god. How many poor birds had to die for the legal department to stick this on the packet? Hopefully, it's just my ignorance, and this is a standard thing for reusable kitchen items.

Just went on the craziest tangent involving the history of blue cheese. Remember this for when the book comes out, if you like! A looooooooot of hours of research went into the use of those two words, to make sure it was plausible that the characters involved may have been familiar with it.

God, I added "Thank you for supporting smaller artists during this difficult time!" to my invoices at least 5 years ago, and somehow, it never felt right to remove it. Spend wisely, especially now, but it's always lovely to get a ping when someone supports your stuff. We're eternally grateful! ❤️

Upside: Just made a batch of my homemade vanilla bean, caramel sauce and chocolate brownie ice cream! Downside: The cost of living crisis is real, penny sweets probably cost £5, and my bank account hates me. Upside: I can eat my worries away! At least, until the ice cream runs out... 😨

Sad to see the IP-ification of virtually everything we experience. When rights holders, never the creators, of a fading "property" want a return. You can't fall in love with a film, be obsessed with it, and then move on. It's a soil bed where nothing is allowed to die... so is anything truly alive?
