Now watching. Have been meaning to watch this for the longest time but knowing there's a Bob Easter egg has given an extra incentive. So far, it is both absolutely charming and absolutely hilarious. Laugh out loud funny

Celebrating Mr Eastwood's 95th(!) birthday

We are on the brink of collapse because most people have chosen hate, having falsely convinced themselves that hate is *safer* than love. But hate just makes you smaller and smaller, more and more isolated, whereas love has the opposite effect. And now we are too proud to turn back!

Feeling quite guilty because yesterday my girlfriend's phone made a slide show of photos of us together from her camera roll, while my phone made a slideshow of photos of Bob Dylan from mine

"If you’re worrying about people taking your statements in bad faith, then it’s not especially helpful to sit on the fence and talk about 'both sides.'" Tom Breihan on Thom Yorke Free Palestine.

A few months ago I got interested in the many lyrics Bob Dylan has written on stationery from hotels around the world. You can use those scraps of paper to pinpoint when he wrote certain songs, plus there are alternate lyrics aplenty. Part 1 of my Dylan Hotel Lyrics Tour Guide:

Very sad to report that the new Walking With Dinosaurs hasn't got any of the magic in it that the original Walking With Dinosaurs was overflowing with

Had to pop out to buy an envelope earlier and in the process ended up stopping off at the bookshops, talking to the man in the flower shop and buying some plants, pottering about down some side-streets I haven't been down before and having a nice walk. Just like Kurt Vonnegut Jr would have wanted

My new single, "No Happy Endings" is out today! It's a love song, and the first release from my upcoming album, The Resurrection Game, which lands on September 12, 2025.  Here's the video clip:

I've always been partial to this Dylan album cover reclinernotes.com/2024/07/14/t...

These are all bangers, no matter what anyone else says

"What would a sweetheart like that Hamilton dame be doing in a dump like this?" Now watching, All Through the Night. Think a certain Mr Dylan might have seen this one before, too

"Words alone mean nothing. They simply bounce off Israel’s iron dome of impunity." Nesrine Malik calls for an EU trade embargo, sanctions on the politicians who enable the settlers, & the observation of the ICC's rulings. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Now watching: Casablanca 2

Wow new video of the entire London show last fall. I think maybe the first complete Rough and Rowdy Ways show on video (or at least first since the Yondr pouches were implemented a few years back)

@pieorama.bsky.social happy birthday! Hope it's been a nice one

Can't go to Bob's birthday show tonight unfortunately so I spent some time today with him in London instead

What better day than Bob Dylan's birthday to share this ranking of his 40 studio albums. Take a look and see if you agree! ✨

Sometimes it's hard to remember that Bob Dylan is just a normal guy like you and me. Sometimes it feels more like he's some kind of minor God. Sometimes it feels like he switches between the two. Whatever else he is, he's the last of the best for sure. Happy birthday, Bob

Happy Hard Rain day! I spoke to Paul Goldsmith, one of the cameramen who filmed that and a bunch of other Rolling Thunder stuff. “We were thinking about canceling the performance. It was raining, and there had been a show a week earlier where a guitarist had been electrocuted.”

The UK's only print film magazine for under 15s - and they get to write some of it too! We can't afford to list Film Junior in shops (that costs thousands), so it's mail order only. Please help spread the word! buff.ly/K1GwaTl

this suffering is all manmade by Israel and everyone who supports Israel

Been back in England for about an hour and I'm already sick of it

Was looking for the recent Bob at Budokan CD set as a memento from this Japan trip and had no luck but did stumble on some crazy live bootlegs in Disk Union instead

I love Japan so much I wish I never had to leave

Took on the ambitious / foolish task of ranking each of Tom Waits' studio album cloers faroutmagazine.co.uk/ranking-tom-...

I always assumed Godzilla would be bigger than this Tokyo edition:
