This is evil of the highest order. The world must collectively condemn this genocide now and demand and end to this madness. In the face of evil the world must unite. The time to act is long passed. All governments must end complicity with the genocide now.

Tesco could pay every worker an extra £10,000 and still make a profit. British Gas could pay every worker an extra £35,000 and still make a profit. Shell could pay every worker an extra £300,000 and still make a profit. It is the billionaires who are ripping you off.

The biggest benefit in the UK is the £120bn a year that goes to the 200 largest companies (who aren't even people) and the richest 150 billionaires who are allowed to not pay the tax that they are legally supposed to pay. This is a benefit that should be eradicated.

Imagine dedicating your career to hurting the most in need.

Elon Musk issued a blistering criticism of the GOP spending bill for Trump’s agenda, posting that it represents a "disgusting abomination." "I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore," Musk wrote. "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.”

Israeli government ministers and officials told us exactly what they intended to do in #Gaza, then went ahead and did it. There will be no justice until they are brought before the ICC to face charges of genocide.

“You say we need more for defence 𝘢𝘯𝘥 to end child poverty? Get over yourself, break the fiscal rules, and just spend more money!” As Starmer warns of war prep while pledging to fix Britain, the only solution? Dig deep. 💸 @maitlis.bsky.social | @jonsopel1.bsky.social

Grant Shapps begins by saying defence is an area that should transcend politics, then goes on to make the most spurious partisan points you will hear today, including... that Labour should have done all this twelve months ago when, erm, <checks notes> Grant Shapps was still Defence Secretary. ~AA

Taco Tuesday has arrived early, folks!

A new YouGov poll finds that 57% of voters say Trump’s age is affecting his presidency, while only 31% say it isn’t.

Elon, time to leave politics for good.

Nothing to see here. Just your standard, average, working class man ... getting on a private jet.

Phang: These “radical left” judges? These are judges that you had a hand in appointing—or they were appointed under Republican administrations. So how very convenient that when you don’t get your way, suddenly these are all radical left judges. He is just an intellectually lazy asshole.

Given the Ofcom chair's track record of disparaging what he calls the "woke brigade" & expressing admiration for Laurence Fox, it's perhaps unsurprising that the regulator has proven so ineffective in addressing toxic misinformation on GB News... /4 uk.news.yahoo.com/ofcom-chairm...

South Park residents of San Diego, California, confront Trump’s ICE agents after they stormed a local Italian restaurant to detain staff. This is how fascism is resisted. Courageous citizens standing their ground against regime thugs sent to intimidate them. More of this, America!

Please listen to the UN General Secretary.

Remember how Trump convinced people he was a brilliant businessman? Now, he’s repackaged himself as some kind of “alpha leader.” But just like his businessman brand, Trump's strongman persona is crumbling right before our eyes as he struggles to hide his profound weakness as a leader.

When the next pandemic comes and it's a bird flu pandemic, every dead body will be on the head of Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and I truly hope they're charged with a criminal offense—before they pass on of natural causes—for every needlessly deceased American. This is premeditated evil.

Last month, Robert Armstrong coined the acronym 'Taco' — which stands for 'Trump always chickens out' — as a way to describe the US president's tariff approach and the way markets react to it. Listen to the Unhedged podcast: on.ft.com/3Ff0P5V

Robert Jenrick tried to cut a billionaires taxes by £45m in return for receiving a personal donation. That's a lot more serious than dodging train fares.

Ava-Santina, "David Lammy was in the commons just a few weeks ago saying we can't stop the licenses on those because we sell components and that would disrupt global supply chains" "Can you believe we're talking about global supply chains when there are thousands of children that are dying?" #BBCQT

🧵 1/ Not enough people are linking Reform & MAGA. It’s time to correct that by talking about Nigel Farage, MAGA money, and a US PR firm with direct ties to Bannon. It’s not patriotism and pints it’s a shared plan and international far-right coordination. Grab a cup of tea and strap in👇

518 employers named for not paying £7.4m in minimum wage to 60,000 workers. Wage theft list includes BA, Capita, Halfords, Lidl, Pizza Express, Prezzo, TUI. None forgot to pay megabucks to execs but condemned workers to misery. We need regulation and enforcement because of corporate malpractices.

Hereditary peers are on their way out of the House of Lords. But we need wholesale Lords reform – that sees all unelected peers replaced with an elected chamber that democratically represents us all. electoral-reform.org.uk/its-not-just...

Maximus, UK arm of a US contractor, that tests whether some people should receive disability benefits reported 23% hike in pre-tax profits, from £23.6m to £29.1m. It has £800m govt contracts. US CEO got $10.2m paypacket. Public services increasingly privatised. We pay more, get less in return.
